This layer plays a key role in helping achieve recovery of this species by informing the developers, land managers, biological consulting companies ( conducting environmental assessments), and land owners of the possibility that this species might occur on their lands. These landowners and land managers can then ensure that activities that take place on the property are compatible with the goal of protecting habitat for this species.
